On January 24, 2025, Representative Dunn (R-FL) introduced H.J. Res. 30, a joint resolution of disapproval under the Congressional Review Act, in the House. If the resolution passes both chambers of Congress, it would void EPA's final rule on phasing down hydrofluorocarbons under the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act. 89 Fed. Reg. 82,682 (Oct. 11, 2024).
Update: A couple weeks later, Representative Dunn introduced H.J. Res. 38, a joint resolution with identical language to H.J. Res. 30 but with two additional co-sponsors. A parallel joint resolution, S.J. Res. 14, was also introduced in the Senate.
