Trump Administration Notifies UN of Intent to Withdraw U.S. From Paris Agreement

The Trump administration submitted a communication to the United Nations regarding the President’s intent to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Agreement as soon as it is eligible to do so, consistent with the terms of the Agreement.

The formal notice follows President Trump’s June 1st announcement on his intention to withdraw from the Paris Agreement.
