Richa Shrestha

Richa is an environmental law student from Nepal and works with indigenous communities to help improve legal protections afforded to climate change migrants in South Asia and advocate for a human rights-based approach to climate change discussions. As a coordinator for the World’s Youth for Climate Justice, she is involved in organizing grassroot campaigns to pressurize governments to take more stringent action on climate change and advocate for an advisory opinion from the ICJ. She currently also serves as a member of the UN Youth Advisory Group on Environmental and Climate Justice for the Asia-Pacific.
