Require energy consumption information and disclosures

Require owners of large multifamily and commercial properties to report their energy and water consumption data to NYSERDA.

Page 191: "Commence a statewide energy benchmarking and disclosure program that requires owners of multifamily and commercial properties larger than 10,000 sq. ft. to annually report whole-building energy and water consumption data to NYSERDA for public disclosure. NYSERDA should lead implementation, with support from the Department of Taxation and Finance and the Attorney General’s office."
