Statute:: CLCPA § 2 adds ECL § 75-0111(2).

The CLCPA instructs the Climate Justice Working Group (“CJWG”) to determine criteria for identifying "disadvantaged communities." The DEC must publish draft criteria and a draft list of disadvantaged communities and make such information available on its website before the criteria are finalized.

Once published, the draft criteria and a draft list of disadvantaged communities will be posted here.

Statutory Language:

CLCPA § 75-0111(2): “Before finalizing the criteria for identifying disadvantaged communities and identifying disadvantaged communities pursuant to subdivision one of this section, the department shall publish draft criteria and a draft list of disadvantaged communities and make such information available on its website.”
