CRRA § 14: “The department of state, in cooperation with the department of environmental conservation, shall prepare model local laws that include consideration of future physical climate risk due to sea level rise, and/or storm surges and/or flooding, based on available data predicting the likelihood of future extreme weather events including hazard risk analysis and shall make such laws available to municipalities."
