Marcin Stoczkiewicz

Marcin is Head of Environmental Law Group (Thriving Planet) at ClientEarth's global structures. He previously worked as a partner at the environmental law firm Jendroska, Jerzmanski Bar & Partners, focusing on Polish and European corporate, competition and environmental law. Marcin was a lecturer at the Jagiellonian University from 2002 until October 2013, and was an associate professor at the law faculty, chair of public business law and next chair of environmental law. He received his PhD (Doctor of Laws) in public business law from Jagiellonion University in 2002. Marcin is an author of more than 40 papers on environmental and competition law, including a book entitled "Pomoc publiczna dla przedsiebiorstw energetycznych w prawie Unii Europejskiej" (State aid for energy undertakings in EU law), Wolters Kluwer, 2011 and book "Prawo ochrony klimatu w kontekscie praw czlowieka" (Climate Change Law in the context of Human Rights), Wolters Kluwer 2021.
