Julia Wallner is a PhD student in environmental and climate law that currently works as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Graz, Austria. Her research priorities are climate law and litigation. In her PhD thesis, she researches climate justice from a legal perspective and analyses whether and to what extent it has been realized within the Austrian and European legal systems. The ultimate aim is to develop policy recommendations for enhanced integration of climate justice concerns.
Previously, Julia worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of European Law at the University of Graz and as a legal intern in various institutions, among them the Styrian Anti-Discrimination Agency and the Austrian Research Company Joanneum Research.
