Jorge Alejandro Carrillo is currently a Fulbright Scholar and an LL.M. candidate at Harvard Law School. Jorge holds an LL.B. (Hons.) from Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE). His academic research focuses on climate change litigation, environmental rights, and constitutional procedures. He worked for the Mexican Supreme Court for almost three years. As part of his work as a law clerk, he assisted with drafting judgments and opinions in cases where the Court studied the relationship between human rights, climate change, and the environment. He also collaborated with the Interamerican Association for Environmental Defense (AIDA) in climate-related cases.
