Jakob Kesteloot

Jakob Kesteloot (°1998) studied law at the KULAK and the KU Leuven (2016-2021, magna cum laude). During his studies, he did internships at several law firms (among others Eubelius, Quinz and Freshfields). In his master’s thesis, he focused on the significance of ecological sustainability in competition law. Since September 2021, Jakob has been a member of the Centre for Methodology of Law, where he pursues a PhD on the private enforcement of ecological sustainability. Also, he is the president of the "Valks Ecoteam", a working group on sustainability at the KU Leuven Faculty of Law.
