In a report released on July 22, 2019 the Environmental Data and Governance Initiative (EDGI) released its latest report “The New Digital Landscape” detailing changes to government websites between 2016 and 2018 that reflect the Trump Administration’s anti-science agenda.
The report discusses how the Department of Energy removed climate change from the description of what scientists in its Biological and Environmental Research (BER) group do. References to climate modelling were also removed and the term climatic change replaced with environment. One of the research facilities operated by BER also had its name changed from “ARM Climate Research Facility” to just “ARM Research Facility”
