Asteropi Iliopoulos

Asteropi is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Cardiff School of Law and Politics, researching child rights and global climate litigation (2021-present). She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the Queen Mary University of London (First Class Honours) and a BA in Classics (Philology) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Asteropi regularly acts as research associate for international organizations, practicing lawyers, and scholars for submissions to top-tier law journals. Her interests include climate change law, international human rights law, and citizenship participation. Asteropi was recently awarded a competitive AHRC-SWWDTP scholarship to support her doctoral research on child-led climate change litigation.
