Alessandro Monti

Alessandro Monti is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Law. His research focuses on international and EU climate change law and their interaction with international economic law. In particular, he examines how international trade and investment disputes may affect the pursuit of international climate goals. Prior to his current employment, he completed a double degree PhD at the Universities of Innsbruck and Padova and qualified to practice law in Italy, following a judicial internship at the Court of Innsbruck and a legal traineeship in two Italian law firms.
