EPA announced its elimination of its off-cycle credit for American vehicles with automatic start-stop features, created by the Obama administration in 2012. EPA presented this ruling as a direct result of its elimination of the Endangerment Finding, and of subsequent vehicle and engine GHG emissions standards.
