DOT Proposes to Increase Required Domestic Content for “Buy America” EV Chargers

DOT proposed new limits to the Buy American public-interest waiver for EV chargers. The proposal would raise the required domestic content of EV chargers from 55 percent to 100 percent, with a stated intent of strengthening domestic manufacturing.
