In May 2024, the Department of Agriculture (USDA) released its 2024–2027 Climate Adaptation Plan, building on its 2021 action plan. The 2024–2027 plan outlines actions USDA will take to build climate resilience with investments in soil and forest health, advance research into and the adoption of climate-smart practices and strategies, broaden access to climate data, and deliver climate adaptation science, technology, and tools.
