On July 3, 2025, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced the removal of regulations implementing NEPA evaluation requirements, in response to Executive Order 14154 (Unleashing American Energy). This change also removed references to now-rescinded CEQ regulations, and replaced those requirements with a new regulation under §14 of the Rivers and Harbors Act.
