Umair Saleem

Umair has participated as counsel and amicus curie in environmental litigation in constitutional courts in Pakistan, as well as worked closely with Justice Jawad Hassan, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Dr. Parvez Hassan, and other renowned environmentalists. He was a member of High Court-appointed 5 environmental judicial commission, whose recommendations resulted into legislative reforms and were implemented across Pakistan. He published several scholarly publications and my upcoming book on Enforcing the Right to Environment through Environmental Impact Assessment is being published by Brill Publishers.
