Citing the Trump Administration’s decision to withdraw from the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Department of the Treasury notified the Green Climate Fund (GCF) that the U.S. was withdrawing from the fund, effective immediately. The GCF was established to supplement the objectives of the UNFCCC.
