Pia is a climate lawyer at Environmental Justice Australia. Pia helps frontline community groups and NGOs seeking urgent action on climate and redress for climate harms.
Before EJA, Pia worked as a lawyer in London, primarily focusing on complex large-scale group litigation in relation to car emissions. Pia has also previously worked to support asylum seekers both in the UK and Australia to navigate applications and appeals. Pia is passionate about using legal tools to amplify the voices of individuals and communities most impacted by climate change.
Pia lives and works on Wurundjeri Country in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Sciences from Oxford University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne.
