Lucia Williams

Lucia is a first year doctoral student at University College London (UCL). Her research investigates the intersections of sustainability, ESG and insurance law, with a particular focus on liability risks. Her academic work is complemented by her role as a Consultant in the Environmental Sustainability & Biodiversity team at leading international law firm Clyde & Co LLP. She brings nearly a decade of experience as an English-qualified solicitor, advising on climate liability risks and handling complex, high-value international arbitrations — particularly involving mass torts and property damage under excess insurance contracts.
