On January 19, 2024, the Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service released guidance to provide clarity on eligibility for incentives to install electric vehicle charging stations and other alternative fuel refueling stations. The Department of Energy also released a mapping tool today to help households, businesses, or other organizations considering those investments to find out whether they may be eligible for the tax credit.
