Our research and engagement focus on the right to a healthy environment and a healthy climate; the rights of children, Indigenous Peoples, affected communities, and other groups disproportionately exposed to climate impacts; access to information, participation, justice, and effective remedies; corporate responsibility and State duties to regulate private actors; and the growing role of international and regional human rights courts and bodies in climate governance. The Center also participates directly in key proceedings through amicus briefs and other submissions on climate science and human rights obligations.
