House Republican Introduces Joint Resolution to Disapprove DOE’s Energy Conservation Program Requirements

On February 12, 2025, Representative Clyde (R-GA) introduced H.J. Res. 42, a joint resolution of disapproval under the Congressional Review Act, in the House. If the resolution passes both chambers of Congress, it would void DOE’s final rule setting requirements for the energy conservation program for certain consumer products and commercial equipment. 89 Fed.
