EPA Proposes to Remove Most Source Categories from Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program

EPA proposed to amend the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP) to remove program obligations for most source categories, including the distribution segment of the petroleum and natural gas systems source category. EPA also proposed to suspend program obligations for the remaining subpart W segments until reporting year 2034. The GHGRP requires reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) data and other relevant information from large GHG emission sources, fuel and industrial gas suppliers, and carbon-dioxide injection sites.
