On October 6, 2022, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a final rule amending the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for industrial, commercial, and institutional boilers and process heaters. The rule is related to standards EPA finalized in 2013, which the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals later remanded to EPA.
