On October 20, 2023, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a notice of decision granting an authorization request by California Air Resources Board (CARB). CARB had requested authorization from EPA to implement amendments to CARB’s Ocean-Going Vessels At-Berth regulation and Commercial Harbor Craft regulation. EPA published the notice of the authorization request on March 17, 2023.
