EPA issued a final rule extending Biden-era methane and air pollution compliance deadlines for oil and natural gas operations. The rule extends certain monitoring requirements and performance tests for flares and enclosed combustion devices by 180 days, and grants an additional 360 days for oil and natural gas owners or operators to submit mandated annual reports.
