EPA issued a final rule extending the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program deadline for 2025 greenhouse gas emissions, from March 31, 2026, to October 30, 2026. The GHGRP requires major sources of greenhouse gas emissions, fuel and industrial gas suppliers, and CO2 injection sites to report annual emissions data. EPA, which recently proposed eliminating most GHGRP requirements, noted that it “anticipates addressing the remainder of the proposed rule in one or more subsequent final actions.”
