DOE Rolls Back $83 Billion in Biden-era Clean Energy Loans and Commitments

DOE announced the restructuring, revision, and/or elimination of more than $83 billion in Biden-administration clean energy loans and commitments, stating its intent to save American taxpayer dollars. These funding revisions originate from the Office of Energy Dominance and Financing (formerly DOE’s Loan Programs Office), which now has more than $289 billion in available loan authority.
