DOE postponed the compliance date for Tier 2 homes under the manufactured housing energy conservation standards in 10 CFR part 460, from the definite date of July 1, 2025, to a still to be determined date 180 days after publication of its final enforcement procedures. DOE claimed that the delay was necessary to ensure that it “can evaluate and incorporate meaningful stakeholder feedback regarding appropriate next steps for the manufactured housing standard enforcement procedures, while still providing appropriate lead time for compliance.”
