On December 21, 2021, The Department of Energy announced the creation of the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations. The office, established under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, will support clean energy technology demonstration projects in areas including clean hydrogen, carbon capture, grid-scale energy storage, and small modular reactors.
