Comments on EPA's Proposed Rule to Repeal GHG Performance Standards for Power Plants Based on CCS System

The Sabin Center, along with a team of experts in carbon capture and storage technologies, submitted these comments in response to the Environmental Protection Agency’s request for comments on the proposed rule titled “Repeal of Greenhouse Gas Emissions Standards for Fossil Fuel-Fired Electric Generating Units,” which would repeal the 2024 performance standards for greenhouse gas emissions from new and existing fossil fuel-fired power plants.
