Chiara Guerra

Chiara Guerra (she/her) is a legal professional specializing in public international and EU law, with expertise in environmental protection, human rights, and state responsibility. She graduated cum laude both in ‘Comparative, European, and International Legal Studies’ from the University of Trento, and in her Master of Laws in ‘International Laws’ from Maastricht University. At the UN Office of Legal Affairs, she contributed to the work of the International Law Commission and the UNGA Sixth Committee. Chiara has represented youth and civil society in negotiations and plenary meetings at UNFCCC and BBNJ PrepCom sessions, where she delivered interventions on behalf of the UN Major Group for Children and Youth. She held leadership roles in Amnesty International and youth policy networks worldwide. She is a native Italian speaker, fluent in English, and proficient in Spanish and French.
