The CFTC announced it had formally withdrawn a 2022 request for information (RFI) on climate-related financial risk in derivatives and commodities markets. The withdrawal followed President Trump’s Executive Order 14154 on “Unleashing American Energy,” which, among other topics, revoked Executive Order 14030 on “Climate-Related Financial Risk.
